We would like you to download and use this PowerPoint presentation template for your presentation at IMWS-AMP.

IMWS-AMP 2026 Presentation Template

All presentations must be in PowerPoint format.

Regular papers are 12‑minute presentation + 3‑minute Q&A. Special session, invited, semi-plenary, keynote papers are as per the instructions you have received separately.

Rehearse your presentation to make sure it fits in the allotted time.

As a presenter you are expected to be in your presentation room for the entire session.

In the break before your presentation go to your presentation room with your presentation on a USB flash drive. Give it to the attendant who will load it onto the conference laptop (and delete  it again once your session is over).

You cannot use your own laptop for the presentation.

If you want to show videos please embed them in the PowerPoint and make sure the video file is also on the USB you provide to the room attendant. Tell the attendant there is a video so it gets copied across. Test the presentation and the video with the attendant before you leave the room and fix any problems.

The presentation laptops are Lenovo ThinkPad’s with Windows 11.

There is no sound available from the laptops to the room PA.

Assume there is no internet access from the presentation laptops.

The lectern will have a Logitech presenter device incorporating a laser pointer and remote slide advance button.

The lectern has a fixed microphone. Please adjust it for your height and presentation style so all the delegates can hear you clearly.

Please keep to time. We need to keep the presentations to time so delegates can easily move between presentation streams.

We suggest you repeat any questions from the audience through the microphone before answering them. That way the entire audience hears the question and you get a moment to think about the answer.
